Dr. Michael A. Pikos is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The Ohio State University. He is the founder and CEO of the Pikos Institute.
Since 1990, he has taught advanced bone and soft tissue grafting courses as well as full-arch immediate reconstruction courses to more than 7,000 alumni from all 50 states and 73 countries
and territories. He has performed thousands of bone and soft tissue grafting procedures and placed more than 35,000 implants.
Dr. Pikos has lectured extensively on dental implants throughout the United States and internationally. He is a published author, including his recent book, Bone Augmentation in Implant
Dentistry. Dr. Pikos is the founder and CEO of Coastal Jaw Surgery, a nine-doctor multispecialty practice in Tampa Bay, Florida. He limits his practice exclusively to implant surgical reconstruction.
